Order & Shipping
🌍 Do you ship Internationally?
Yes, I do ship internationally, but not to all countries. Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and added to your order total. Just send a request for your individual location.
📅 When will the calendars be shipped?
Shipping for pre-orders begins in December. You’ll receive an email confirmation once your calendar is on its way.
💸 How do I pay?
After you submit the order form, I’ll email you the total including shipping and the payment details.
🎀 Can I order more than one calendar?
Yes, absolutely. Just mention the quantity in your order form.
📦 Do you offer tracked shipping only?
Yes. All shipments are sent with tracking to ensure safe delivery.
⏳ Until when can I place my order?
Pre-orders are open until the end of November.

✍️ Are the calendars signed?
Yes. Each calendar is individually hand-signed.
🎁 Is the calendar suitable as a gift?
Definitely. Please include the person’s name in the “Additional Information” field to personalize the signature.
🔮 Is this a one-time project or will you release more?
This is my first calendar and first print project, but definitely not the last. More editions are planned for the future.
The Project & Images
🌿 What inspired the calendar?
The calendar grew out of a photography project on Lanzarote. The island’s light, textures, and dramatic landscapes shaped the entire series and gave it a very distinct atmosphere.
🌋 Why Lanzarote?
Lanzarote has a rare mix of volcanic shapes, soft colors, and open spaces. It allowed the images to feel both minimal and powerful – perfect for a calendar.
⏱️ How long did the project take to create?
The photos were taken over several days, but the full process – selecting the final images, designing the layout, and refining all details – took much longer.
✨ Are the images connected to specific locations?
Yes. Each image was created in a unique spot on the island, each with its own mood and light. The calendar takes you on a year-long journey through Lanzarote.
🔍 How did you select the 13 images?
The selection was made from over a thousand images, focusing on atmosphere, composition and how well the photos work together as a visual journey through the year.
📆 Why a printed calendar instead of a digital version?
Print has a presence digital images don’t. The paper, size, and physicality turn the photographs into something you can experience, not just view on a screen.

👀 Are there any behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot?
Absolutely. I’ll share the stories behind each month’s image on Patreon throughout the next year – from unexpected moments to the ideas that shaped the final shots.
📸 Do you collaborate regularly with @portraitsandlight?
Yes, we do. We’ve worked together on several projects in the last years and I am always looking forward to the next one. This calendar grew directly out of that collaboration.
